SECRETARIAT

Secretary General
Euna Ko
Secretary General

Greetings to all participants, Welcome to KISMUN 2025!

My name is Euna Ko, and it is beyond my greatest honor to take the opportunity of organizing the twelfth KISMUN conference as the Secretary General.

Over the past eleven editions, KISMUN has been defined not only by its longevity but by its spirit. Through 11 editions, 11 unique geopolitical contexts, and countless hours of debate, KISMUN has, and always will be, a bastion of ambition and excellence. KISMUN is just not another gathering of students. It is a form where diplomacy is tested, where strategies are sharpened, and where young leaders rise to meet the challenges of a complex world.

As the Secretary General, I am more than confident that every single committee at KISMUN will be thrilling and fascinating. As you step into your committees, remember that every delegate carries the potential to shape the dialogue. Speak with courage, just as this year's KISMUN theme, “To Where Courage Leads You”. Allow yourself to be challenged, and do not shy away from moments of uncertainty — for it is often in those moments that the most meaningful growth takes place.

Whether this is your first conference or not, I urge you to take bold risks. Ignite your passion. Beyond your limits. Experience your excellence. Enlighten your potential. Dream big, act bold. Let yourself see where courage leads you at KISMUN 2025.

Best wishes,
Euna Ko
Secretary General of KISMUN 2025

Deputy Secretary General

Dear, all Delegates, Chairs, Directors, and staff members,

My name is Dongwon Seo, current DSG for KISMUN2025. It is an honor and a privilege that I get to welcome you to 12th KISMUN which is KISMUN2025.

KISMUN2025 means more to me than any other MUNs that I have participated in my MUN career. Through my previous experiences as a delegate, chair, and DSG, I have gained a comprehensive understanding of both the procedural and administrative aspects of MUN. These opportunities have strengthened my capacity to manage responsibilities with diligence, critical thinking skills, impartiality, and professionalism and I hope all participants of KISMUN2025 can gain it too.

What differentiates KISMUN from any other MUN is that it is a huge conference with at least 200 delegates attending each year. All of our delegates are highly dedicated to MUN and work hard to contribute meaningfully to every session. So, make sure to speak up and act bold. I hope you make unforgettable memories and cherish valuable experiences.

See you in KISMUN2025.

Sincerely,
Dongwon Seo
Deputy Secretary General

Deputy Secretary General

Dear distinguished participants of the 2025 KISMUN,

My name is Lee Eun Seo, and it is my absolute honor to be serving as the Deputy Secretary General of this year’s conference.

Our theme for 2025 KISMUN,“To Where Courage Leads You" carries a special meaning to me. This slogan was proposed with my personal belief that MUN is not about proving yourself to others or striving to be better than those around you—it is about giving your best, letting your passion shine through, and allowing courage to guide your steps. These steps do not need to be grand or extraordinary. Even the smallest steps you take with courage will, in time, lead you to grow into a stronger, bigger person.

This is something I have experienced myself. When I first began my MUN journey, I was a timid delegate, hesitant and afraid to speak in front of others. Yet, I chose to take courage. Two years later, that same courage has led me here, standing before you as the Deputy Secretary General.

I hope that throughout this conference, you will also let your courage guide you. Whether it leads you to speak up in debate, to talk to new friends, or simply to challenge yourself in ways you never have before, please trust that every step counts. Let yourself flow freely, and see where courage leads you. I look forward to witnessing your journeys at 2025 KISMUN.

With warm regards,
EunSeo Lee
Deputy Secretary General
